About the role
You’ll serve as the link between the commercial and technical aspects of our special-purpose machines and provide key data for our pricing and project controlling. Step by step, you’ll grow into your responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining sales BOMs and configurations in the new quotation system (CPQ)
- Weekly data maintenance and verification in SAP using defined reports and analyses
- Assisting with the costing of machines and systems
- Analyzing data to identify cost variances and opportunities for optimization
- Creating price overviews, variant comparisons, and quotation templates
- Supporting the further development of our costing processes in the costing and quotation system
- Collaborating with various departments (e.g., Sales, Engineering, Purchasing)
About you
This position is ideal for junior candidates or those just starting their careers who wish to develop their skills in the field of cost estimation.
- Completed vocational training (e.g., an apprenticeship in a business-related field or a degree from a HAK, HLW, or HTL)
- Initial experience in office organization, administrative work, or data maintenance is a plus
- Interest in the combination of numbers, technology, and systems
- Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel); SAP experience is a plus
- A structured, precise approach to work and analytical thinking
- Enjoyment of questioning things and understanding how they fit together
- Strong communication skills and an interest in cross-functional collaboration
- Good written and spoken English skills

We determine the salary / wage together with you. The minimum for this position is 2.947,89 EUR gross per month, working full time. (Collective Agreement: Metalltechnische Industrie)
